CIBC 2011 Rally

The Club's 2011 Rally will be held at The Blue Lias, Stockton, over the weekend Friday 16th to Sunday 18thSeptember. The provisional format is set out below, additional items may be included as and when they have been formulated.

Friday night:
Ad-hoc social evening on boats or in bar.
Saturday afternoon:
Beeky boules competition on the lawn and any other activities we can think of between now and then.

5 p.m. Tea on the Lawn.

Saturday evening:
Entertainment by Life and Times.
They will perform the songs from their production "Where the working boats went" which will allow everyone to sing along with the chorus (they even provide the words!)

Followed Ploughman's Buffet, raffle and awards.
Sunday morning:
Boaters' Auction.

Sunday Lunch
(to be pre-booked prior to Saturday evening entertainment and paid for on Sunday lunchtime).

Sunday night:
Quiz in the function room organised by the Jannocks and Laplander (so get your thinking caps on)
Entry Fee for Weekend £20 per person, including up to 2 nights pitch fee for camping
Entry Fee for Saturday only £10 per person
Extra nights camping £8 per tent/caravan
Electric hook-up may be available for boats and camping units and should be arranged with the Blue Lias in advance on 01926812249. Their standard camping charge per night is £8.00p or £11.50p with electricity. The club will pay for two nights standard camping per unit attending. Any extra nights required and electricity hook-up charges must be met by the member.

There will be no formal control of the moorings at the rally. We would ask that you leave spaces free for boats with disabled crew when required and try to keep some mooring space available for normal passing traffic if possible.
